Meet the Maloney Associates team

Keith has vast experience working in the field of energy and environmental consultancy both in-house and as a consultant. He has a strong track record of reducing energy usage and making savings on every project which he has worked on. Keith has built a strong reputation within the industry and is a member of the Regional Committee for The Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.

Lesley has a vast amount of experience within the legal professional and local government environmental services. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the business, account management of major clients and in delivering large scale projects with the team. Lesley is a huge dog lover and so spends her weekends with her 2 pugs and the rest of her family.

Paul is Our Lead Retrofit Coordinator and oversees Retrofit Projects for Social Housing Decarbonisation Schemes. The scheme aims to improve the energy efficiency of properties, reducing fuel poverty for customers and making their homes nicer places to live. In his spare time, Paul enjoys watching football and is a big Liverpool fan.

Day-to-day, Lucy is usually working closely with Keith and Lesley on the operations of the business. She also gets involved with our HR, marketing, charity contributions, compliance and general office management. Lucy told us that she loves the variety in her role and getting involved in so many different projects. Lucy enjoys finding new walks at the weekend with her two miniature dachshunds and then getting stuck into the latest crime drama.

For over 12 years Ant has been completing energy audits, energy certificates, action plan reports, renewable technology appraisals and various other energy related projects for Maloney Associates. Ant works both at the office and regularly visits clients’ sites – so you may see him around from time to time. For Ant, the most enjoyable part of the job is implementing interesting renewable and carbon reduction technologies. In his spare time, Ant likes to see family and friends and enjoys getting out into nature.

Steve has been working for Maloney Associates for more than 6 years and predominantly supports the operations of the businesses alongside Keith. On a typical day Steve will be speaking to clients, energy suppliers and coordinating staff. Overcoming a variety of challenges really keeps Steve motivated. Steve enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren at weekends as well as gardening.

Helen always endeavours to ensure she is giving the best value and the best service for our clients’ needs. Her accounting background means she has an eye for detail and will strive for accuracy. She is regularly working on utility support for our key clients but also supports on wider, large-scale projects.

Helen loves to spend time with her children, including singing, playing the guitar and piano, camping and watching true crime documentaries.

Alvin holds a MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management and has experience in producing net-zero carbon plans including accounting for scope 3 emissions according to the Crown Commercial Services Framework.

Alvin’s work is focused on providing support for compliance reports for clients such as SECR and ESOS reporting and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Management.

Heather works predominantly on Retrofit projects, using her administration skills to ensure the project runs smoothly. She also gets involved in other projects for some of our clients where necessary. Heather enjoys spending time with her family and loves going on holiday. She also enjoys watching drama series and is a huge Liverpool fan.

Joy has been working for Maloney Associates for 3 years and primarily looks after key clients’ utility accounts. She also does some forensic accounting and energy and water procurement alongside other crucial reports. When we asked Joy what she enjoys most about her job she said she likes seeing the refunds she spent time chasing returned to customers! At the weekend and on days off, Joy enjoys playing badminton, walking her dogs, and spending quality time with her children.

Maryam joined Maloney Associates in 2019 after studying Environmental Science with Economics at Keele University. She has used this knowledge to produce a variety of reports for our customers including ESOS, SECR and Carbon Footprinting. When we asked Maryam what she enjoys most about her role she said “Making a difference when it comes to tackling climate change through working with a variety of clients.” At the weekend you can find Maryam trying out new restaurants with her family and friends!

Anne is a key member of the team, providing customer service support to our clients. She works closely on one of our key clients’ projects, providing communications and support. Anne enjoys spending quality time with her family in her spare time.

Gary is an experienced Energy Assessor; he works closely with some of our largest clients providing Energy Certificates and general support. Day to day, Gary can be found surveying homes alongside our Surveying Team. Gary also supports our Senior Energy Auditor, Tony, with Compliance Reporting.

Clare qualified as a Retrofit Assessor in Mar 2023 and she is eager to learn and develop in her role. Whilst surveying properties, she enjoys interacting with clients to help them have a better understanding of energy saving measures in their home. Clare previously served 22 years in the Army, she has a passion for carpentry making bespoke furniture, she also loves the great outdoors with her two Bordoodles.

Anthony is an experienced Energy Assessor; he has been working for Maloney Associates for 4 years and is involved with many key clients. He works closely with the rest of the Surveying Team carrying out Energy Assessments as well as supporting our Senior Energy Auditor with various Compliance Reports.
